Description: I prepared a piece of Yuzen Washi paper, and folded them a shape of Japanese kite. I folded the paper for the front 26 times. In order to create volume, I put the foam behind the paper and then glued it to the pendant frame I made at the production studio. Once the glue dried, I applied a polymer sealant followed by non-toxic acid-free varnish five times to make it firm, shiny and water resistant. Each varnish application required one full day to dry completely.
